Every Art Crawl Deserves a Soundtrack! McNally Smith presents The 2012 Fall Sound Crawl Concert The Amsterdam Bar and Hall Wabasha and 6th Street, downtown St. Paul 6:30PM -12:30AM Free Admission However you categorize it, a new tradition in downtown St. Paul is taking place again on Oct. 12th between 6:30 and 12:30AM, when the semi-annual St. Paul Sound Crawl hits the street in advance of the beloved fall Art Crawl. See a multitude of work by local artists — preceded by hearing the sounds of local musicians in an innovative display of musicianship, technology, and first rate performance chops. Expertly thrown together — i.e. curated by the best brains of McNally Smith College of Music — the Sound Crawl boasts the following reasons to take to the St. Paul streets: This fall’s Sound Crawl Concert, while featuring great original hip hop and alternative music from the Twin Cities’ rich community of artists, will also showcase some of McNally Smith’s College of Music’s best and most original performers along side some incredibly talented high school aged groups- many comprised of students from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists high school.
